Mood: Hopeful

Well. I've churned out some crap that took me hours to draw that a competent artist could fart out in like 10 minutes. I don't remember art being this hard when I was a kid... But I guess that's what happens when you just don't pursue an interest for about 10 years.

The thing I find so hard is I am trying to draw straight from the mind. I can look at something and draw it pretty well, actually really well. But I hate doing it. I want what I draw to be mine, not a copy of someone else's work.

I'll get it going eventually. Once I get the technique down I'll also get faster at it too hopefully.

I've been on deviantart for a few years but alot of people I follow seem to have jumped ship to sheezy so I figured I'd follow.

I guess I am supposed to put things in here about me eh?

Well, I'm from Ontario, Canada and I am still trying to get my art and animation skills off the ground.

I'm known on newgrounds as Erin-Chan, but my account there has been pretty dead too because of my lack of inspiration to animate anything interesting.

I tend to be really shy and afraid that I'm bothering people... I guess I shouldn't be so worried but I can't help it!

Anyway I hope I'll get to actually DOING some stuff worth posting soon.
